Richmond's Spring Loaded Gate Castors are designed to make opening and closing of residential gates easier. The spring loaded design provides shock absorption features specifically for use on uneven surfaces. The gate mount is integrated into the frame of the castor for easy fixing to any gate system. Has been designed for use on platform ladders that require maneuverability combined with locking under load.
The S4024 from Richmond Wheel and Castor Co, is a swivel frame castor and is fitted with a nylon wheel. This swivel castor is one of our spring loaded gate range and can hold loads up to 20kg. The S4024 wheel is fitted with plain bearings. The swivel frame design of this castor allows full swivel rotation to enable steering. The overall nylon wheel diameter is 100mm, the wheel width is 30mm which you can order separately (Part Number: NY4417).
