Description
This spring base and top plate insert is designed for 650L tubs to help keep contents at a more convenient working height during loading and unloading. As weight is added the coil spring compresses and lowers the load, and as items are removed it rises again, helping reduce bending and overreaching. It’s a practical add-on for environments where tubs are packed and unpacked regularly, including stores, warehouses, kitchens, laundries, and production areas where manual handling is part of the day-to-day.
The unit uses a mild steel base with a virgin HDPE deck to provide a stable platform under changing loads. The top plate measures 1290 × 710 × 12mm, with a base size of 720 × 389mm to suit the tub footprint. Spring tension is set to 50kg, providing consistent lift support for heavier contents and helping operators maintain a steadier working height as the tub weight changes. Raised height is 603mm and compressed height is 173mm to accommodate the full travel range under load.
