Spring Base and Top Plate for 250L Roto Tub (RTR250SPR)

This spring base and top plate insert is designed to suit 250L tubs where staff need a more consistent, practical working height during loading and unloading. The coil spring platform lowers as weight is added and rises as items are removed, keeping the contents closer to hand and reducing the need to bend into the tub. It’s a simple mechanical assist that helps maintain a safer posture when handling heavier or awkward items over a full shift.

The insert uses a mild steel base with a virgin HDPE deck and a 905 × 495 × 10mm top plate to support tubs securely. With a 50kg spring tension, the platform moves through a working height range from 443mm raised down to 173mm compressed, depending on load. The 530 × 300mm base footprint helps keep the assembly stable inside the tub, making it suited to repetitive pick/pack, stores, hospitality back-of-house, and general materials handling where reduced strain and smoother workflow matter.
