Description
This spring base and top plate insert is designed for 150L tubs to keep contents at a more convenient working height during loading and unloading. As weight is added, the coil spring compresses to lower the tub contents; as items are removed, the spring rises to bring the remaining load back up. This helps reduce bending and reaching, making repetitive picking and packing tasks easier to manage in busy back-of-house, stores, and production areas.
The unit uses a mild steel base with a virgin HDPE deck and a top plate sized 665 × 420 × 10mm for stable support. Base size is 530 × 300mm to sit securely in the tub, with a raised height of 443mm and a compressed height of 173mm as the load changes. Spring tension is set to 50kg, suited to heavier contents where keeping the working height consistent can improve handling efficiency and reduce operator strain across the shift.
