Single Depth Bunded Shelving

This single depth bunded shelving unit has a spill capacity of 110L – allowing it to meet the (legally enforceable) EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) and Australian Standards regulations, so long as the biggest container placed on the shelving unit does not exceed the 110L capacity. The shelving system provides a simple, compact solution for your workplace, allowing every product to be both easily visible and accessible, while still being adequately bunded. Each shelf can hold up to 125kg, and are perforated to prevent 'pooling' of any leaking chemicals. Arrives in a flatpack to reduce delivery costs, and is easy to install in a matter of minutes. A Double Depth bunded shelving unit is also available.   All of our bunded products are 100% Australian made, and the base of this shelving unit is constructed from a super heavy duty, Low Density Polyethylene (LDPE) material, for maximum durability and corrosion resistance. Australian rotational moulding business Rota Moulding, has compiled a comprehensive chemical resistance chart for Low Density Polyethylene (LDPE). Please check out this chart to make sure that your requirements have been met. This shelving unit has heavy duty shelves made from ABS plastic instead of the LDPE. This is due to a higher load capacity and ease of application into a shelving unit. ABS plastic still offers significant chemical resistance, to liquids such as ammonium chloride solutions, calcium chloride and sodium hydroxide, which are the major corrosives that cause metal pipes to fail. It also isn't affected by water, aqueous salt solutions, mineral acids and alkalis.
