This rigid plate castor is built for straight-line travel on trolleys, cabinets, furniture and equipment where dependable tracking matters. It uses a 75mm institutional rubber wheel with a 32mm tread, giving a stable footprint and quieter rolling on hard floors. With a castor height of 107mm, it’s a practical choice when you need a compact wheel size without sacrificing load support. The wheel runs on ball bearings to help it roll smoothly under load and reduce effort during day-to-day movement.
The pressed metal frame is finished in chrome to help resist corrosion and make wipe-down cleaning easier in busy, hygiene-focused areas like hospitals, aged care, education and retail fit-outs. This is a rigid (fixed) castor, so it’s best used in pairs with swivel castors when you need steering, or in sets where controlled, linear movement is the priority. Maximum load capacity is 80kg per castor, with a recommended working load of 45kg for ongoing use and longer service life. The wheel is replaceable and can be ordered separately as wheel code IR3008.
