This 52L stack and nest crate is designed for hygienic storage, sorting and transport in food handling, hospitality, warehousing and general work areas. Manufactured from food-grade polypropylene in orange, it is suitable for direct food contact and can be cleaned quickly thanks to smooth internal surfaces. The crate measures 650 × 410 × 275mm externally with an internal space of 485 × 320 × 270mm, providing practical capacity for produce, ingredients, packaged goods, tools and components.
The stack and nest design improves space efficiency across daily operations. When loaded, crates stack securely to protect contents below by resting on the reinforced rim inside the tub, helping reduce product damage during handling and storage. When empty, crates nest inside each other to minimise the footprint in back-of-house areas and on return transport. The 2.1kg unit weight supports frequent manual handling, and the crate is compatible with 32L and 68L tubs in the same range for consistent stacking and nesting across mixed sizes.
