This 50L step pedal bin is designed for hygienic, hands-free disposal of general waste in clinical, food service and commercial environments. The foot-operated pedal opens the red lid without hand contact to help reduce cross-contamination risk in hospitals, kitchens, workshops and other shared spaces. The red lid supports visual waste stream identification and can be used as part of a colour-coded segregation system where red is allocated to general or landfill waste.
Manufactured from HDPE with a smooth surface, the bin is straightforward to wipe down and sanitise between uses. It includes liner retention hooks on both sides of the rim to keep bags secured during loading and when the lid is operated, helping maintain a clean workstation area. With an overall size of 430(L) × 402(W) × 600(H)mm, it has a compact footprint that fits beside benches, in prep areas, or along corridors while providing practical capacity for medium-volume waste collection.
