The tray measures 737 × 406mm and is formed from 1.6mm thick food-grade aluminium to keep weight down while still handling repeated loading and unloading. Three pressed sides at 25mm deep help contain product and make the tray easier to grip, while the open side supports quick slide-on/slide-off handling in racks and ovens. The three-sided design also allows closer stacking to reduce storage space compared to fully framed trays, which is useful where trays are constantly rotated through prep, bake and cooling.
