Description
This 12-tonne steerable load skate is designed for controlled relocation of heavy machinery and equipment across flat, hard surfaces such as concrete workshop floors and warehouse slabs. The front steerable unit uses a turntable steering system with a 1m drawbar and towing eye, allowing one operator to guide direction changes and line up loads accurately during plant moves, equipment installs and maintenance works.
The low-profile steel frame keeps the load close to the ground to improve stability while moving, and the non-slip rubber top helps the load stay seated during slow positioning. High-strength steel rollers reduce rolling resistance under heavy weight and support steady travel when used with compatible trailing skates to spread the load. Overall size is 630 × 400 × 115mm with a 200 × 400mm swivel top, making it suitable for tight clearances under machines while still providing a stable footprint for controlled manoeuvring.
